About Belguardo:
United by pride, passion and experience, Pichai Kijjaroentorn (General Manager), Cristina Spanu (Guest Relations Manager), Marco Cammarata (Executive Chef), and Onuma Phompumbejara (HR Manager) launched Belguardo early in 2006 with the aim of offering a unique lifestyle experience.

The four are striving to make Belguardo the best of its kind. Only the freshest of ingredients go into the cuisine, which has been created by Chef Marco, an internationally-recognized five-star chef. Only state-of-the-art equipment is used in the kitchen. Only the finest wines are available. Only the best-trained staff provide unobtrusive but personalized service.

About the Restaurant:
In five-star Belguardo, the contemporary design of soaring glass walls creates an ambience of light and expansiveness. You can sit in the middle of the restaurant and watch the chef working in the open kitchen, or choose a seat in an intimate corner.For greater privacy, check out the Belguardo Wine Lounge on the mezzanine. Even small parties can be accommodated.

Chef Marco Cammarata prepares his own creative Italian cuisine with the finest selected imported ingredients. Belguardo's "open kitchen" is furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, and the wine cellar offers an extensive selection, which you can enjoy in the restaurant itself or in the Belguardo Wine Lounge.

Open all day from lunch until late evening, Belguardo offers a range, from a full-course meal to a relaxing venue for a glass of wine. The experienced management, the well-trained staff, the fine cuisine - all create a warm, friendly atmosphere and an unforgettable dining experience.

Belguardo Dining Area:
Luxurious and tasteful, Belguardo's main room offers a comfortable venue, where tables are arranged either for small intimate groups or for larger social gatherings. Well-trained waiters and waitresses await your orders, or, if you wish, can guide you in choosing the best wine or other drink to complement Chef Marco Cammarata's exquisite culinary creations.

Let your fancy range, from ravioli of peppered beef stew on creamy potatoes in a chianti jus to roasted seabass with Atlantic salt on red onion confiture to "white" chocolate sabayon with strawberry salad and confit of citrus zest - or simply enjoy a plate of Belguardo's imported cheeses with a glass of Prosecco.

Belguardo's Wine Lounge:
Belguardo's Wine Lounge on the mezzanine is meant for wine lovers, but it's also multi-functional. It's a business centre, complete with facsimile and high-speed internet connections, and it's also a relaxing oasis with a 72-inch plasma TV, where you can mellow out with a glass of wine or any other drink you fancy and snack on a dish from the special Wine Lounge menu, mainly finger-food, that Chef Marco Cammarata has created.

Over 10 different kinds of wines are offered by the glass, a selection that is changed frequently, always ensuring that the tariff is in the reasonable range.

Seating around 20, the Wine Lounge is also perfect for private parties as well as business meetings. Chef Marco can prepare a personalized menu to suit your needs. In addition, wine-tastings are held regularly in the Wine Lounge, complete with tasting notes on request.

The Chef Marco Cammarata:
As a partner and the creator of Belguardo's distinctive cuisine, Chef Marco Cammarata used his expertise and experience to create delectable dishes and desserts that complement Belguardo's wide selection of wines and other beverages. His passion for food, his talent and his gastronomic creations ensure a perfect and memorable meal for every guest.

Born in 1971 in Turin, Italy, he started his career in 1984, at the Hotel Balzac (Paris, France) as Chef de Partie. He then moved to Asia, working in Bangkok as Chef de Partie Entremetier at Angelini Restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel from 1996 to 1998. From Thailand, he moved to Istanbul, Turkey, where he joined Belini Restaurant in Ciragan Palace Kempinsky as Sous Chef until December 1999.

In January 2000, he returned to Bangkok, this time at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit. In his six years as Executive Chef of Rossini's Italian Restaurant, his expertise contributed to the success of this upmarket restaurant.

Belguardo, which he and his partners launched in early 2006, now provides a stunning venue for his unique creative Italian cuisine a five-star restaurant for a five-star chef.
